Faith, Politics, and Ottawa County – A Conversation with Unifying Pastors

All are welcome to join the your calendars (and feel free to invite people to) a Panel Discussion on Thursday, August 17, at 6pm in the Mackinaw Ballroom of Central Park Place in Grand Haven, MI. The subject will be “Faith, Politics, and Ottawa County: A Conversation with the Steering Committee of the Ottawa Coalition Unifying Congregations.” The panelists will be the three steering committee members (Rev. Kristine Aragon Bruce from First Presbyterian Grand Haven, Fr. Jared Cramer from St. John's Episcopal Grand Haven, and Rev. Gordon Wiersma from Hope Church RCA in Holland) of our Unifying Congregations. Nick Brock from Vote Common Good West Michigan and the Unifying Coalition will moderate. Our hope is that this event will give space not only to hear from local faith leaders speaking out about the policies and rhetoric of the Ottawa Impact backed members of the County Commissioners, but also an opportunity to connect with other Christians who want to speak up, advocate, and make a difference.
