About the event

This year on Martin Luther King, Jr., day, we will continue our traditional day of readings. From 9:00am until 7:00pm, our Nave will be open and we will be hosting a continuous reading from Dr. King’s sermons and letters. A large book of readings will be in the pulpit of the Nave and parishioners are invited to sign up for a half hour slot to be the Readings Leader, reading from the book for that half hour. Please sign up online at http://sjegh.com/mlkreading if you'd be willing to help serve, ensuring the readings continue uninterrupted throughout the day. And if you have a moment during the day, consider coming by the church to listen and find yourself inspired by Dr. King’s words to work for greater justice and equality in our own time.
