About the event

One of the critically acclaimed Netflix series from 2021 was the horror series, "Midnight Mass." In the series, an isolated island community experiences miraculous events—and frightening omens—after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest. Fr. Cramer has mentioned before how very powerful he thought the series was, and several have asked him to explain why! So, you are invited this summer to watch episodes 1-5 of the series on Netflix at home and then join Fr. Cramer on Thursday, July 21, for a special Mid-Summer Movie Group, where we will watch the final two episodes (6 and 7) together. Join us at 5:30pm for fellowship and bring a snack and/or drink to share, along with $5 if you'd like pizza. We'll kick off with episode 6 at 6pm and then, after finishing both episode 6 and the episode 7 finale, Fr. Cramer will host some conversation about the show and how it invites to think differently about God, the church, and salvation.
