On Thursday, January 29 at 7:30 pm we will gather for a Requiem Mass for Peace, a sacred time of prayer, reflection, and lamentation in the face of deep and unfolding tragedy. In recent weeks, communities have been shaken by the deaths of protesters — including Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti.

About the event
On Thursday, January 29 at 7:30 pm we will gather for a Requiem Mass for Peace, a sacred time of prayer, reflection, and lamentation in the face of deep and unfolding tragedy. In recent weeks, communities have been shaken by the deaths of protesters — including Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, both killed during demonstrations confronting immigration enforcement actions by federal agents. Their deaths, and the broader toll of lives lost in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody and enforcement, have stirred grief, anger, and fear across the country and here at home.
At this Requiem Mass we will pray for:
• Renée Good and Alex Pretti, and all who have died in ICE custody or as a result of immigration-related violence;
• those in our communities who live each day under threat of violence, family separation, or deportation;
• and for peace, justice, mercy, and accountability in our…
