About the event

Maundy Thursday is the night in Holy Week which marks the beginning of the Triduum—the Three Great Days. On Maundy Thursday, we remember the institution of Holy Eucharist in a meal Jesus shared with his friends. At SJE, to heighten that ancient source of the sacrament, we will resume our practice of a traditional Middle-Eastern Meal, with dinner service beginning at 6:00pm, before the bilingual Maundy Thursday liturgy at 7:00pm. You must sign up in advance so we can let the caterer know how much to expect. The suggested donation is $20 per adult, $5 per child, and is no more than $40 per family. Any funds raised in excess of costs will go to our Loving Spoonfuls meal ministry. Please let us know you're coming to the dinner, so we can order the right amount of food, by signing up online at: http://sjegh.com/maundy
